DR. ANGELA STILLMAN, LMFT, LPC
Licensed Therapist | Relationship Expert
There are so many counselors to choose from, so why choose me? Here's why: As a licensed therapist and relationship expert, I have been providing Individual Counseling, Couples Therapy, and Family Therapy at my private practice in Southlake, Texas since 2010. Professionally, I hold two licenses from the State of Texas: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My areas of special interest include relationship issues, couples therapy (to include dating, marriage, divorce, and co-parenting), and family counseling. I have extensive experience working with relationship dynamics ranging from preventative strategies to complex, high conflict situations. In my practice, I recognize that the American Family is richly diverse and so I invite people of all belief systems, relationship statuses, and family makeups to engage in a therapeutic experience that is non-judgemental, respectful, and effective. Whether you are coming in individually or with a loved one, I will collaborate with you to reach therapeutic goals that are tailored to your hopes for a better tomorrow.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2003 and my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University in 2009. During my Master’s program, I completed my clinical training at Glick House, Texas Wesleyan’s Community Counseling Center, where I worked with individuals, couples, and families; I have additional experience in out-patient psychiatric hospital settings working with both children and adolescents. Most recently, I earned my Ph.D. from the Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy program at Texas Wesleyan University.
