So, you know that you want to see a therapist, but...

  • You are finding it hard to take the time out of your day to get to my office

  • You travel frequently

  • You live in Texas, but not within a reasonable driving distance of my office

  • You want to avoid sitting in a waiting room with other people

  • Illness is preventing you from leaving your home

  • It is difficult to find a babysitter to watch the kids while you leave your home for therapy

  • You prefer the comfort of your own home while speaking to me

  • You want a more convenient solution for therapy

If any of these factors resonate with you, online therapy (telemedicine) could be a good solution. As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor licensed in Texas, I can only treat clients who are located in Texas. Unfortunately, I cannot work with people who reside outside of Texas. Individual, Couple, and Family counseling can be provided online. In order to provide the highest level of confidentiality available for online therapy sessions, I utilize a HIPAA compliant telemedicine service called For you, this is a free service and does not require you to create an account. I will simply email you a link to use for each session. As with any form of electronic communication, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed and we both, as therapist and client, have a duty to minimize the possibility of confidentiality breaches. Confidentiality breaches that can occur on your end include, but are not limited to, someone else gaining access to your electronic devices (or the Cloud) and seeing your communication with me, someone else walking in the room during your online session. As you decide whether online therapy is a good fit for you, please consider these risks when engaging in any form of electronic communication (text, email, video, etc.) with me, as I will do the same for you.
